Since 2002, Health Care Support Services have been based inShawbury and have gained a good reputation in the surrounding areas

Rated "GOOD" by CQC (care quality commission), we are enjoying continued success and building a new care team in and around the SY1 area of Shrewsbury.

We are now looking for caring, compassionate, hardworking, flexible people to join our excellent care team to work in the areas.

We are dedicated to providing the highest quality person centred care and support with outstanding customer service to people living in their own homes enabling them to be more independent.

The role

As a Care Worker you will be helping to enable people in your local community to live as independently as possible in their homes by providing the best standards of care and support. So what are the sorts of things I could be doing? I hear you ask:

  • Assisting with all elements of personal care, to ensure clients are supported in being as independent as possible in preparation for their day ahead.
  • Assisting clients in getting washed and dressed, preparing meals, prompting and assistance with taking medication.
  • Light household tasks
  • Offering companionship and helping build clients confidence and independence

It goes without saying you will need to be caring, compassionate & empathetic. We provide the training and support to help you focus on building relationships with your clients, their families and your colleagues.

Due to the nature of what we do, some early mornings, evenings and weekends will be required.

A full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle preferable and be over the age of 18 to apply.
